Lebanese Youth Advocates…

This project suggests pragmatic, creative ways to offer the Lebanese Youth citizens a chance to communicate with their local representatives, an opportunity to speak out loud being sure that someone is truly listening. 
And this will be through interrelated steps, and aimed activities as following:

This project suggests pragmatic, creative ways to offer the Lebanese Youth citizens a chance to communicate with their local representatives, an opportunity to speak out loud being sure that someone is truly listening. 

And this will be through interrelated steps, and aimed activities as following:
  • To empower young activist to take initiatives
  • To help young activists discover the importance of group work 
  • To try to solve priority issues according to an action plan
  • To train young activists on advocacy
  • To encourage young activists to discuss common issues with municipality Mayors as well as with MPs.

The project includes the following steps:
1- Forming two youth groups: One at Tripoli and one at Tyr.
2- Training and capacity building for the youth groups.
3- Elaborating action plans for each targeted area.
4- Round tables with the concerned municipalities.
5- Round tables with the concerned MPs.

Duration: It is a one year project from May 1, 2015 until April 31, 2016

This project is funded by the National Democratic Institute – NDI.
