The Lebanese Foundation for Permanent Civil Peace, will organize a training for a group of a Lebanese Judges on the Mechanisms of applying the international human rights conventions in front of the Lebanese local courts.
The Training will be for two days, and it will include on:
1- Convention against Torture and other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment.
2- Convention of Children Rights
3- Prisons, detention place and prisoners' rights.
4- Convention of CEDAW and the women rights/
5- Procedure of Complains in front of international Human Rights Bodies.
6- And other topics.
Attendance: A group of around 35 Lebanese Judges.
Place: Beirut, Institute of Judicial Studies
